Art is a way of life for Lori. It engages the intellect, softens the heart and frees the spirit. Born in Montreal, Lori obtained her Degree in Fine Arts. She continued her journey to British Columbia and attended Emily Carr Institute in 1991 , Now , living a life as a full-time Artist,
Lori McPhee’s untamed passion has no limitations.
About 10 years ago she began a series of Musicians described as contemporary with graphic elements. Lori is painting these stylish musician figures in various prominent Landmarks abroad, and meeting up with famous people such as Oprah! Capturing a night in Vegas!, feeling the beat on Vancouver’s Granville Island!, Jazzing it up at the Gastown Steam clock!, Rolling with the Stones! , Raising the roof with BC Children’s Variety Club!, and now honored to be Conducting on the cover of Quills Canadian poetry magazine!

Each individual piece attributes intensity, purity, strength in color and is a synthesis of the various influences she has experienced which are conveyed in a simple message to the viewer.
Lori works closely with interior designers to enhance the aesthetic charisma of any given space. Her works have been displayed at the B.C. Children’s Hospital Lottery Home and the Hometown Heroes lottery Show Home. Her original paintings are collected both privately and corporately across Canada, The United States, and Internationally.
